Inspired by Curry and Mina’s shared love of global travels and international cooking techniques, International Smoke ignites a new spark of flavor and creativity focused on woodfired steaks, seafood, ribs, and vegetarian entrees to create flavorful dishes that are craveable worldwide. Over many shared meals together, Ayesha and I would talk about barbecue and the different styles of grilling we’ve inherited from our families and own unique experiences. After a lot of conversation and dreaming, we decided to bring Ayesha into our MINA Test Kitchen space in San Francisco to bring this idea of International Smoke to life. The pop-up was a huge hit, and one of our most successful concepts at the Test Kitchen evolving into its own set of brick and mortar locations.”
